Eyal is the President and Chief of Operations of Metronet Systems, Inc., which he founded in 1987. Eyal has over 30 years industry experience in telecommunications, data communications and computer technology. From 1986 to 1990, Eyal was the IT Operations Manager in charge of Information Technology Operations, Management and Infrastructure for the New York City firm of Perry H. Koplik and Sons, Inc.
Prior to 1986, Eyal was employed as a Service Manager for MicroAge Computers of Mahwah, New Jersey and Senior Support Engineer of PSI, Inc., of New York. Eyal is a Certified Network Engineer for four major computer systems: Cisco, Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, and Novell. He is also a graduate of Dale Carnegie seminars and has since become a graduate assistant.Eyal has a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, as well as an Electronics Engineering degree from Tel Aviv University. Eyal is a NJ State Board of Ed. certified Education Technology High School Teacher and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from George Washington University in Educational Technology Leadership.
Eyal is a board member and technology advisor for the Lutheran School's Association, Atlantic region and technical advisor for the Physical Computing program at the NYU School of Medicine.
During the last 10 years, Eyal developed a business concept to assist schools in obtaining government funding under the E-Rate program to implement and utilize technology solutions in furthering childrens K-12 education.
